Ministry Description

Awana is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for three-year-olds through high schoolers. The acrostic AWANA comes form the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Tim. 2:15). An Awana Club meeting consists of three parts: games, achievements, and Bible time. While SMBC supplies all the equipment, each clubber should bring $.50 weekly to provide special supplies. Each child will complete an entrance booklet, which is the first step in Awana achievement. Upon completion, your child is eligible to earn more awards as a member of Awana. It is our desire to work with you in providing balanced physical, social, mental and spiritual activities for your child. |
